I have been fortunate over the years to get to experience hunting with Bear Track Outfitter's from the observer's standpoint. October 2023 I finally got to be the hunter. I was after my first Elk and Bear Track delivered. It was one of the greatest experiences I have had hunting. TJ
and all his crew
are the best!!
My first day out TJ found a great Elk and with his knowledge and some patience I was able to get my Elk. Not only is the hunting great with Bear Track but the people are also. When you are there, you feel like you are surrounded by friends. It was nonstop laughter and fun which for me makes the hunting even better.

My first experience
with Bear Track
Outfitters was in
2018 on an archery
mule deer hunt. Soon after arriving
at the lodge, I knew
it would be a fun
and memorable hunt. TJ, the guides, and
cooks did everything
they could to make
me feel at home
during my stay. My
experience there was
better than I could
have expected, and I
have since returned
multiple times,
bringing family and
friends along on elk
and mule deer
hunts. TJ and his
guides are first
class and will do
everything necessary
to make your trip
one to remember. I
will be returning
every time I can
draw a tag!

2023 was my
sixth year hunting with Bear
Track, and it just gets
better every year. Top
notch guides, facilities,
food, and especially the
hunting. This year was tough
with the rain, but my guide,
Taylor was up to the task
and we went where we had to
go, and ended up with an
exciting stalk and a super
mule deer buck.

I return to Bear

total hunting

make sure your rifle
is sighted in
properly, guide you
to a mature trophy,
and make sure your
trophy is properly
taken care of. You
start out hunting
with a Bear Track
guide but you will
end up hunting with
a Bear Track friend.

My father and I have been to
Bear Track going on ten
times now and we both say it
is always our favorite week
of the year. The staff,
hospitality, and hunting

2021 will be my sixth year
in a row bow hunting with
Bear Track. If you have
never hunted out west this
is the place for you to
start. Nothing can compare
to sneaking to within 20-30
yards of a bedded mule deer
buck and waiting for him to
stand up. TJ and the guides
know what it takes to get it
done with archery gear. At
Bear Track, if one stalk
doesn’t work out another one
is just around the corner.
If you hunted mule deer
before you will appreciate
the opportunities for taking
above average deer. Antelope
hunting is another great
adventure. You can sit in a
blind or try decoying. If
don’t mind being humbled you
can also try stalking
antelope. Utilizing these
three methods, shot
opportunity is close to
100%. I’ve hunted hard in
other camps and never had
the opportunity to draw my
bow. The only way that can
happen here is if you never
leave the camp. On that
note, the accommodations are
very comfortable and the
food is great. TJ and the
guides work together to
provide you with a great
overall experience. I
consider myself an average
hunter, but I have been
fortunate to tag out on both
Antelope and Mule deer every
year I hunted here. I have
hunted through injuries,
equipment failure and all
kinds of weather. At every
turn the Bear Track crew
modified the game plan to
put me in a position to be
successful. If you are
looking for a phenomenal
hunting adventure you will
find it at Bear Track. To up
your chances of harvesting
game practice, try to get in
decent shape and most
importantly be honest with
your guide. They will make
every effort to tailor the
hunt to meet your
